The creative director of God of War: Ragnarök talks about the 'early developments' on Santa Monica Studios' next project
Santa Monica, the studio that completed the Scandinavian saga in God of War Ragnarok, has not yet revealed its plans for the future. Although they released Valhalla, an expansion pack that serves as an epilogue for Kratos, details about the studio's latest project remain under wraps.
On Twitter, Cory Barlog, director of God of War (2018) and creative director of God of War Ragnarok, hinted at a "fast pace of work" on his new project, praising the talents of Sony Santa Monica.
seeing some early things coming together on this thing I'm working on right now and GOD DAMN the people I get to work with at @SonySantaMonica are just fucking beyond brilliant.

Here's What We Know
However, Barlog's tweet leaves a lot of room for speculation, as the essence of the project remains unknown. It may include more content for Ragnarok, especially since senior writer Orion Walker suggests that Valhalla is not the end of his story. Composer Bear McCreary's response in the form of a sheep gif added to the intrigue.
