Samsung has decided to disable the notification category management feature in its One UI 6.1 devices by default, which has led to user dissatisfaction.

Notification channels, introduced with Android 8.0 Oreo, allow you to control the types of notifications sent by apps.

Owners can easily restore this functionality.

How To Switch It On

To do this, go to the notification settings and then select the "Manage notification categories for each app" option in the "Advanced settings" section.
