Based on the 2000 manga by Akira Toriyama, SAND LAND follows the journey of the evil Prince Beelzebub and his advisor Thief as they ally themselves with Sheriff Rao in search of the Legendary Spring. However, this quest is only one aspect of a larger narrative. Along the way, they meet allies such as Ann, a talented mechanic with a knack for repairing and assembling bots.

The bots play a key role in navigating the dangerous terrain of Sandy Land, whether it's navigating the quicksand on a motorbike or overcoming obstacles with a jumping bot. They also prove invaluable in facing off against the royal army, untamed beasts, and other dangers, though Beelzebub is not used to direct confrontation.
