Development of Terminator: Survivors is underway on Unreal Engine 5, - Nacon
Since the release of the short cinematic trailer earlier this year, there has been little information about Terminator: Survivors. However, Nacon has recently shared some new information by answering frequently asked questions on Steam.
Here's What We Know
An important revelation from the FAQ is the inclusion of multiple drivable vehicles in Terminator: Survivors, which will facilitate exploration, tactical gameplay, and multiplayer interaction.
"In Terminator: Survivors, multiple drivable vehicles will be available. The Vehicle System aims to support players’ movements across the game world and the gameplay flows, creating various exploration experiences, encouraging tactical thinking, and promoting multiplayer cooperation".
Given the constant threat from the T-800 in the game's open world, vehicles are expected to be crucial.
In addition, Nacon confirms in the FAQ that Terminator: Survivors is being developed on the Unreal Engine 5 and will feature single-player and offline modes.
When We Can Expect It
Terminator: Survivors is scheduled to launch in early access on PC on 24 October.
