Samsung's artificial intelligence will increase the Galaxy S25's battery life by 10 per cent

Samsung is actively using artificial intelligence in its products and it doesn't look like it's going to stop. According to a new report, the company's next series of flagship smartphones including the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature Battery AI technology.

This technology will increase battery life by 10 per cent. Chinese competitors usually increase the battery life of their smartphones by installing batteries that are ~10% larger, but Samsung has decided to use artificial intelligence. Instead of increasing battery capacity, Samsung will offer us AI. Battery AI will eliminate unnecessary tasks to increase overall runtime without affecting the phone's performance. It is not expected to reduce the CPU and GPU frequency, which is good news. Additional details are not yet known.
