The development plan for the action-RPG Last Epoch has been published: the game will feature new bosses, items, a story chapter and a transmogrification system
At the end of February the action-RPG Last Epoch was released.
The game immediately attracted public attention and became one of the main competitors of Diablo 4 and Path of Exile, despite the fact that it was developed by a small team of not too experienced developers.
Here's What We Know
Eleventh Hour Games studio is not going to end support for Last Epoch, but on the contrary, states that it will continue for many years.
The game designers have published a plan of updates (they called them cycles) of Last Epoch for the near future.
- Cycle 1.1 - there will be new bosses and random encounters with enhanced versions of standard enemies, and roll mechanics will be introduced.
- Cycle 1.2 - Primal hunt events for later stages of the game, a story chapter dedicated to the ancient era and primal unique items.
- Cycle 1.3 - expansion of the Fate Monolith features, unique false echoes and new procedurally generated locations.
- Cycle 1.4 - improved skill system, more bosses for late game stages, and transmogrification and item repaint system.
The developers warn that Last Epoch's presented support plan may change slightly, but overall they intend to stick to it and regularly fill the game with new content and mechanics.
Last Epoch is only available on PC on Steam.
