Samsung Galaxy A12 gets first software update in 2024

Samsung started rolling out the first software update for the Galaxy A12 in 2024. This update includes the May 2024 security patch that addresses 45 vulnerabilities.

Here's What We Know

The update is available for the Galaxy A12 carrier-locked variant for the United States with version A125USQS8CXE6.

Samsung has said it will provide two security updates every year for the Galaxy A12.

How To Switch It On

The update can be checked manually by going to Settings, Software Update, Download and Install.

The company reminded that security updates will be provided for one year, after which it is recommended to consider buying a new smartphone, such as the Galaxy A35.
