Following the iPad Pro M4: Apple plans to redesign the iPhone, MacBook Pro and Apple Watch
Last month, Apple has updated the iPad Pro: it's the first tablet with an OLED display, the first device with an M4 chip and the thinnest iPad in history, making it the thinnest iPad Pro in the company's history. The 13-inch model is just 5.1mm thick, and that's even less than the iPod nano. Now Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reports that this is just the beginning.
Here's What We Know
According to Mark's latest report, Apple plans to redesign its products to be thinner and lighter. This includes smartphones, laptops, and even smart watches.
The insider confirms that the iPhone 17 lineup will have a new model in 2025 that will be significantly thinner than the current smartphones. In addition, Apple is working on new versions of the MacBook Pro and Apple Watch with updated designs.
""I’m told that Apple is now focused on developing a significantly skinnier phone in time for the iPhone 17 line in 2025. It’s also working to make the MacBook Pro and Apple Watch thinner. The plan is for the latest iPad Pro to be the beginning of a new class of Apple devices that should be the thinnest and lightest products in their categories across the whole tech industry""
When exactly the thin MacBook Pro and Apple Watch will be released is still unknown.
