Metroid Prime 4 is alive and coming in 2025: Nintendo Direct reveals gameplay trailer for the highly anticipated title

Finally, seven years after its announcement, at least an approximate release date for Metroid Prime 4 has been announced at a Nintendo Direct show.

Here's What We Know

The Japanese developer presented a gameplay trailer of the long-awaited game and announced that it will be released under the name Metroid Prime 4: Beyond.

The viewers were shown footage of the protagonist Samus Aran arriving on a planet full of hostile creatures and fighting them.

In terms of gameplay - it will be a first-person action game with a lot of opportunities and non-obvious ways to complete tasks and overcome obstacles.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond will be released in 2025. For now, we're only talking about a release on Nintendo Switch, but insiders have previously reported that a special version is in development for Nintendo's next console, which is also due to go on sale in 2025.
