The Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D remake will support different graphical modes for consoles and will have three difficulty levels
Square Enix's Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D remake has received a release date announced during the latest Nintendo Direct. Japanese previews showed console graphics modes and several difficulty levels.
Here's What We Know
According to Game*Spark, the PlayStation 5 version will have graphical and performance modes, with the performance mode prioritising frame rates. These options are also expected on the Xbox Series, and the PC version will likely support resolutions up to 4K and higher frame rates.
The game has three difficulty levels: Dracky Quest, Dragon Quest, and Draconian Quest. The easiest mode increases damage to players and prevents bosses from regenerating health, while the hardest mode gives bosses more HP and reduces the amount of XP and gold rewards. Players can save the game almost at any time thanks to the auto-save feature.
The remake also includes elements from Dragon Quest 6, such as the Recall skill for remembering NPC conversations, which was previously exclusive to the Super Famicom and Game Boy Color versions. It also offers quest guides and speed modifiers for combat and exploration.
When We Can Expect It
Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake will be released on 14 November.
Where To Play
The game will be available on Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and PC.
