Steam updates its online peak with a huge summer sale: 37 million people used the service simultaneously on 30 June

We wrote that Steam has launched a grand Summer Sale that will last until 11 July. And this event attracted gamers so much that Valve's digital store has updated its peak online.

Here's What We Know

On 30 June, 37 million players were simultaneously on Steam, choosing games with big discounts that will never be installed or going to play what they bought.

Prior to that, Steam's online peak was reached in March 2024, when the spring sale was underway. At that time, 36 million people were using the service at the same time.
