Konami's performance at gamescom 2024 may disappoint gamers: according to preliminary information, the Japanese will present only one little-known game

Japanese publisher Konami has joinedAt gamescom 2024, NetEase Corporation will unveil two unannounced games - one of which could be an ambitious RPG from the creators of The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 at gamescom 2024, but the company's performance may disappoint many gamers.

Surely many users, having seen Konami in the list of gamescom 2024 participants, decided that the Japanese will definitely reveal new details of two expected games: Silent Hill 2 remake and Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater.

We hasten to disappoint: this year Konami will focus only on one novelty - card game Yu-Gi-Oh series. This information was received by WccfTech portal from the representatives of Gamescom PR-service, and later it was confirmed by the Japanese publisher.

Of course, there is still hope that Konami will surprise the fans of its games and show trailers of Silent Hill 2 remake and Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater. Moreover, Konami's press release talks about "the company's stand in the business zone", and the above mentioned games may be shown at the opening ceremony of gamescom 2024.

Note, the release of the horror game is due in October and it's already time to actively promote it.
