Boring, drawn out and expensive: Episode Aigis: The Answer DLC for Persona 3 Reload may disappoint gamers
The Episode Aigis: The Answer add-on for Persona 3 Reloaded, a remake of the cult JRPG, will be released on 11 September.
Critics have already got acquainted with the DLC and regretfully stated that Atlus and Sega will somewhat disappoint Persona fans this time.
Here's What We Know
Episode Aigis: The Answer is a sort of epilogue to the Persona 3 remake and offers about 20 hours worth of gameplay. The problem is that most of this time the player will be wandering through beautiful, but monotonous dungeons, fighting with endless monsters, and only occasionally this process will be diluted with character dialogues and staged scenes.
The developers tried to make everything as less dragged out and boring as possible, and even added the possibility to choose difficulty levels, but it didn't help much. Besides, The Answer is available only with a $50 Expansion Pass or Game Pass Ultimate subscription, and many critics doubt that the presented content is worth that kind of money.
One thing is for sure, the DLC will answer almost all of the questions that may remain after playing Persona 3 Reloaded.
In the end, Episode Aigis: The Answer received 74 points (Xbox) and 79 points (PC) on Metacritic.
