Ukrainian developers from Wild Hornets overclock FPV drone to a record 325 km/h

The Wild Hornets community has demonstrated a new development for an FPV drone that allows it to reach a record 325 km/h.

Here's What We Know

In general, the higher the speed of an FPV drone, the more efficient it is. That's because the operator has limited time to intercept his target, which must first be caught up.

Last month, community developers managed to accelerate the drone to 260 km/h.

"The high-speed FPV drone from Wild Hornets reached 325 km/h. We broke our previous speed record. We continue to develop this project. A little more time and the first batch of such drones will be used to perform special and very important tasks," Wild Hornets wrote.

Military observer Yigal Levin explained that the speed of the new drone "surpasses the maximum cruising speed of most helicopters and opens up many possibilities for use".

And the Defence Express speculated that the Wild Hornets may have developed an anti-aircraft drone, which is currently being used to destroy enemy reconnaissance UAVs.
