Meta AI can now communicate by voice and edit photos

Meta has announced an update to its AI assistant, which is now available in many of the company's apps. Last year, Meta presented its AI at the Connect event.

Here's What We Know

One of the key new features is voice communication with Meta AI. Previously, it was possible only through Ray-Ban Meta smartphones. Now users can communicate with the voices of celebrities such as Aquafina and John Cena.

Meta AI has received photo editing functions. Users can now ask AI to change images on Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp, add or remove objects, and change the background.

The update is accompanied by a new Llama 3.2 model that combines image and speech recognition. This allows AI to provide detailed descriptions based on photos.

In addition, Meta is testing the automatic dubbing and lip sync function for Reels, which will allow creating videos with translation into different languages.

The company plans to experiment with AI-generated content on Facebook and Instagram feeds and personalise it for each user.
