HONOR could unveil its first triple folding smartphone at IFA next year
According to the latest rumours, HONOR is planning to unveil its first triple foldable smartphone at IFA 2025. This information came from insider Teme, who shared it on social network X. He also added that companies such as OPPO and Vivo are not planning to release such devices yet.
Here's What We Know
While Huawei recently launched the world's first triple foldable smartphone, the Mate XT Ultimate Design, HONOR is looking to compete with its former parent company. The new HONOR smartphone is expected to be just 10mm thick, which is significantly thinner than the Huawei Mate XT, which is 12.8mm thick when folded.
Oppo and Vivo has no plans for a tri-folder phone for now, Honor on the other hand, the development is already a long way off and it might be seen at next year's IFA. pic.twitter.com/oaIOf5KYhe

Currently, HONOR's thinnest foldable smartphone is the Magic V3, which is 9.2mm thick. If the rumours are confirmed, HONOR will once again raise the bar in foldable devices by introducing an even thinner and lighter triple foldable smartphone. Samsung and Xiaomi are also rumoured to be working on their own versions of triple foldable smartphones, but it is not yet known when they will be unveiled.
