Hotline Miami 2 removed from the PS Store in Australia: the game was available for purchase for a whole year

Australia has a rather strict classification commission, which can sometimes block the sale of some games on the continent. And Hotline Miami 2 was one of them. Nevertheless, the game was available for some time, but this "promotion" has ended.

Here's What We Know

In October 2023, Hotline Miami 1 and 2 were re-released on PS5. And all year long, the second part could be purchased in Australia on PlayStation or played via PS Plus. However, probably someone from the commission saw this and the game was removed from the store.

Those who purchased the game will receive a refund, while PS Plus owners were simply deprived of the opportunity to play it.

Publisher Devolver Digital commented on the situation briefly:
