Xiaomi has unveiled the Mijia foldable warming board with graphene heater and fast heating in 10 seconds

Xiaomi has launched a new Mijia foldable warming board that features a graphene heating element and can quickly heat up in 10 seconds.

The device is available for crowdfunding at a price of 349 yuan (about $49) until 16 October, after which it will have a retail price of 449 yuan (about $64). Shipping will begin on 23 October.

The Mijia Warming Board provides even heat distribution and can heat up to 100°C in 4 minutes. It features aerogel insulation to prevent heat transfer to table surfaces and has 3 independent heating zones with 5 temperature levels: 40°C for fermenting dough, 60°C for reheating wine, 80°C for milk, 100°C for general food reheating and 130°C for soups.

The unit has a touch-screen control panel and also features a child lock feature to prevent accidental changes to settings, and has a food-safe glass surface that is easy to clean. The foldable design saves space when storing, and the 12 silicone pads prevent slipping and spillage.
