Blindfire, a first-person shooter where you'll need to navigate by sound in the dark, has been released in early access on Xbox Series and PC

Blindfare, the new first-person shooter from Double Eleven, which was announced during the Xbox Partner Showcase, is now available for pre-access for Xbox Series and Windows consoles on the Epoc Games Store. The release for PlayStation 5 is due later this year.

Here's What We Know

The game takes place entirely in the dark, requiring players to rely on audio cues and visual cues such as muzzle flashes to locate enemies. Gunshots reveal the player's position, which adds to the challenge.

The main game mode, Bodycount, offers Free-For-All and Team Deathmatch options consisting of five rounds where players earn points for headshots, kill streaks, and survival, not just wins.

There are two types of weapons in the game - the Mantis pistol and the Abolition shotgun, but the arsenal will be expanded over time. Players have to navigate ambient lighting, traps, and a spotlight controlled by dead players, and can also use Echo to map the area and track the movements of opponents.
