Alan Wake 2 is celebrating its one-year anniversary with a free update that will add new features and improvements: the main feature is a new Assist Mode that offers infinite ammo, unlimited flashlight batteries, invincibility, and one-shot kills, making the game less challenging.

Here's What We Know

The update will also improve the DualSense features on PlayStation 5, such as haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and gyroscope support, as well as other gameplay changes and fixes. Players who purchase the Deluxe Edition will receive a classic Wake outfit.

In addition, the Lake House expansion pack and the physical Deluxe Edition will be available on 22 October.
