OpenAI has released a special version of ChatGPT for Windows, but it is not yet available for everyone

OpenAI has released a standalone ChatGPT programme for the Windows operating system.

Here's What We Know

Everyone can download the application in Microsoft Store, but for now it will work only for paid ChatGPT subscribers.

The developers warn that the functionality of the Windows-version will be limited and inferior to the chatbot version on macOS and web browsers, as it is at the testing stage.

You can use the Alt + Space shortcut to quickly open ChatGPT.

ChatGPT on Windows will answer a question, give information, support image generation and some other features. In addition, users will be able to upload pictures and photos for processing by the chatbot.

OpenAI promises that the Windows version of ChatGPT will be available to all users by the end of 2024.

The software is currently available in Plus, Enterprise, Team and Education subscriptions.
