Since the last similar report (2022), sales figures have increased by 150 million copies!
The Sonic the Hedgehog franchise has produced over 1.66 BILLION sales and downloads of F2P titles to date.

Perhaps few franchises can match the success of Sonic the Hedgehog and the fact that the iconic Hedgehog has held the public's attention for over 30 years shows that Sega has chosen the right vector for the franchise and is doing a great job of releasing new games and other media projects.
