Galaxy S25 series smartphones could be the first flagships to get seamless updates feature
Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy S25 series, which will be the company's first flagship to support seamless A/B updates.
Here's What We Know
This feature allows devices to boot faster after installing new firmware by switching the system A and B partitions. The Galaxy S25 will run on Android 15 with One UI 7.0 and will set an example for other high-end Samsung phones coming later next year.

Earlier this year, Samsung had already introduced seamless updates to the Galaxy A55, which was the company's first device with such a feature. Seamless updates allow new system updates to be applied without interrupting the device, which greatly speeds up the update process. However, to support this feature, the device must be designed with A/B system partitions from the start.
