A strong fleet is the key to victory: the developers of Sid Meier's Civilisation VII talked about the advantages of the Spanish Queen Isabella
Firaxis Games studio has unveiled another national leader available in the historical 4X-strategy Sid Meier's Civilisation VII. This time the Spanish Queen Isabel I de Castilla (Isabel I of Castilla) was in the centre of attention.
Here's What We Know
As the leader of a nation, Isabella can pursue a conqueror's policy or choose the path of economic development of her country.
As was the case in real history, Isabella has a powerful navy with which she can conduct trade or expansion. By subjugating uncharted lands, the Queen of Spain increases her income, and by discovering Wonders of Nature she gets extra gold. By the way, Isabella has more respect for leaders who possess Natural Wonders and dislikes those who lack them.
By selecting Isabella, players will have to command huge fleets to capture and defend territories without ravaging the treasury. The leader will receive additional gold to buy ships, and the cost of their maintenance will be reduced.
