Video hosting site YouTube has begun testing a new Dream Track feature that will allow users to use artificial intelligence to create remixes of licensed songs in their Shorts.
Here's What We Know
Contentmakers will be able to make text requests and specify what genre or rhythm a particular tune should be played in. These tracks will have a maximum length of 30 seconds.
YouTube executives note that Dream Track can be used to generate the voices of vocalists who have given their consent, including Charlie Puth, Charli XCX, Demi Lovato and John Legend.
