Samsung Galaxy S25 appeared in Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and 12 GB of RAM

The Samsung Galaxy S25 model, probably for the Korean market, has been tested in Geekbench.

Here's What We Know

The listing confirms the presence of the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip, which operates at 4.47 GHz and 12 GB of RAM. This may indicate that a version with 256 or 512 GB of memory is being tested.

The Galaxy S25 demonstrates low results: 2481 points in the single-core test and 8658 points in the multi-core test. By comparison, regular Snapdragon 8 Elite versions score higher, exceeding 3000 in the single-core test and 9000 in the multi-core test.

This is because the "For Galaxy" chips are optimised for energy efficiency rather than maximum performance.

The official launch of the Galaxy S25 series is expected at the end of January 2024.
