Spotify adds 1000 more audiobooks

Spotify has announced a new partnership with Bloomsbury, which will expand the platform's library by more than 1000 audiobooks.

Here's What We Know

As part of the agreement, the catalogue will include bestsellers and classics by such authors as Sarah J. Maas, William Dalrymple, Allan Moore, Madeline Miller, and Gillian Anderson with her recent bestseller Want.

In addition, listeners can enjoy the voices of celebrity narrators including Meryl Streep, Emilia Clarke, Ajoa Ando and Jamie Lee Curtis. Duncan Bruce, Spotify's director of audiobook partnerships and licensing, said that this expansion marks the one-year anniversary of the launch of audiobooks in the Premium subscription.

Since the launch of audiobooks, Spotify has paid out hundreds of millions of dollars to publishers, and this partnership aims to further engage listeners in the world of literature.
