A lover of holidays and science: the developers of Sid Meier's Civilisation VII introduced the leader of France, King Charlemagne

Firaxis Games studio presented another national leader available in the historical 4X-strategy Sid Meier's Civilisation VII. This time in the centre of attention was King Charlemagne of France.

Here's What We Know

As the leader of a nation, Charlemagne can focus on the scientific development of his country or develop an army to be able to defend himself against his neighbours or carry out armed expansion himself.

Charlemagne is a great lover of festivals and feasts, so his bonuses are closely linked to them. For example, at the beginning of the feasts he gets two cavalry units from among those available for hire, and during the event the cavalry units gain +5 combat power.

Charles prefers to deal with rulers who also like to have festivities, and the party for this ruler starts in proximity to rivers.
