Qualcomm is preparing new Snapdragon X chips for low-cost laptops
Qualcomm is preparing to break into the notebook market with its new Snapdragon X series chips aimed at devices priced under $600. The series includes the X1P-24-100, X1P-39-100 and X1P-40-100, which promise high quality even for budget devices.

These chips feature a 45 TOPS neural processing unit (NPU) similar to the more expensive Snapdragon X Plus and X Elite models, which significantly improves the artificial intelligence processing capabilities.
The new Snapdragon X series includes various models such as the X1E with 12 cores and a maximum frequency of 4.3GHz, and the X1P with a maximum frequency of 3.4GHz, targeting users looking for a balance between price and performance.
Laptops with the new Snapdragon X chips are expected to cost less than $600, offering performance comparable to more expensive models like the Surface Pro 11.
