PlayStation 5 will receive a system software update on 3 December. It will add a small innovation that will appeal to those who transfer a lot of files.

Here's What We Know

Sony will release the update version 24.08-10.40.00 for the console during the day. It is likely to weigh no more than 2 GB, but the description of the update is already known and consists of only two sentences:

• Improved data transfer from another PS5 and increased stability when transferring large amounts of data, such as video
• Improved notifications and usability on some screens.

So it's a good idea to update.
