Fortnite has announced a new game mode called Ballistic, which will be available in Early Access on 11 December.

Here's What We Know

In this mode, players will be split into two teams of 5, one of which will attempt to install the Rift Point device and the other will attempt to prevent it. The device will explode 45 seconds after installation if it is not defused.

Only one map, Skyline 10, will be available at the beginning, but more maps and weapons are planned to be added in the future. There will be no ability to build in Ballistic, and players will not be able to revive during a round.

Team roles will change every 6 rounds, and the match will end when one team wins 7 rounds. Players will be able to play in both ranked and unranked modes. Ballistic will be available in all regions where Fortnite can be played except South Korea and Russia.
