Google Docs adds 40 new templates

Google Docs has 40 new templates with a modern design, which is the next step after the Google Slides update last month.

What you need to know.

These templates take advantage of new features in Google Docs, such as document tabs, placeholder chips (for adding data), and document building elements.

The new layouts are available for all Google Workspace customers, individual subscribers, and users with Google Accounts.

How To Switch It On

To access it, select File, New, From Template Gallery, or click on Templates on a blank page.

New template options are expected to be available soon.
