Rumours about Bethesda's plans to release a remake of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion have been circulating for some time, and new data coming from various sources only fuels speculation. Earlier it was reported that the project was being developed on the Unreal Engine 5 engine, and it seems to be true.

The technical art director of Vitruos studio, which is likely to work on the remake, indicated on his LinkedIn profile that he was working on an unannounced remake that was being developed using Unreal Engine 5. He also noted that the game will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC, which is in line with Microsoft's strategy of releasing games on all platforms.
When We Can Expect It
There is currently no information available about the game, but December sources suggested that Microsoft and Bethesda are planning to announce the TES 4: Oblivion remake during the Xbox Developer Direct in January.
