Xiaomi has discontinued the popular next-generation Redmi Note smartphone
The tenth generation of Redmi Note smartphones debuted in March 2021. The most modest novelty was the Redmi Note 10 model. Not even six months have passed since its premiere, and it has already been withdrawn from production.
What happened?
The main reason behind the production halt was the lack of Snapdragon 678 processors. The company has already halted sales of the Redmi Note 10 in Indonesia. The March novelty is expected to disappear from store shelves in other countries soon.
In Europe so far, the smartphone is on sale, but only the version with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of permanent memory remains in stock. Depending on the country, it is priced at 189 or 199, which means the price has dropped by 30. The model is out of stock on AliExpress in the official store.
The company from the Celestial Empire has not yet commented on the Redmi Note 10's withdrawal from sale. Perhaps the smartphone will return to the market when the shortage of mobile processors ends.
