Coming soon: Xiaomi executive hints at the imminent release of MIUI 13

Neither last year, nor this year MIUI 13 shell we never waited for. Instead, Xiaomi released MIUI 12.5 and MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition. However, MIUI 13 seems to be getting close.

When?

Earlier, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun saidthat MIUI 13 will be released this year, that is in the next month and a half. The soonest firmware release is now hinted at by Xiaomi Group China President and Redmi CEO Lu Weibing, who wrote on social media:

"MIUI 12.5 is already here, is MIUI 1x really close?"

Recall, MIUI 13 should bring a lot of new features and updated GUI. One of important innovations will be the RAM expansion technology. There will also be iOS-style widgets and will be refined smartphone search mode to combat theft. The firmware will run on Android 11 and Android 12.
