Typeface, a startup developing generative AI for brands, raises $100m

US startup Typeface, which creates content for businesses using generative artificial intelligence, has announced it has raised $100m.

Here's What We Know

Typeface was founded by former Adobe CTO Abhay Parasnis in 2022 to make it easier to create content for brands using generative AI.

The startup's competitors include Copysmith, Copy.ai, Movio, Omneky, Regie.ai and Sellscale. They too use generative AI technology to create images, videos and texts for marketing purposes.

Typeface raised $65 million in February 2023 with Lightspeed Venture Partners, Google Ventures, M12 and Menlo Ventures as lead investors. The startup is now valued at $1 billion.
