Google removes AI Test Kitchen app from Play Market and App Store

Google has removed its AI Test Kitchen app from the Play Market and App Store to focus solely on the web platform.

Google launched AI Test Kitchen last year to let users interact with projects based on various AI models such as LaMDA 2. The first set of experiments involved breaking down a target into different subsets and talking about dogs to see if the system adhered to a given theme.

A company spokesperson confirmed the removal of the apps and said that AI Test Kitchen will focus only on the web platform, as it's easier to release updates that way.

AI Test Kitchen is currently running only one experiment with the MusicLM text-to-music language model. It was unveiled earlier this year at the Google I/O conference.
