Microsoft will talk about artificial intelligence in OneDrive at a special event next month
Microsoft will hold a special OneDrive event on 3 October, where the company will talk about bringing artificial intelligence to the cloud storage service.

According to the announcement, OneDrive will get a revamped interface as well as new search and sharing features based on artificial intelligence.
The OneDrive presentation will take place a few days after Microsoft's "special event" in New York on 21 September. The company is rumoured to unveil three new Surface devices, as well as new AI features for Microsoft 365, Windows and Bing.
It's possible that part of the September presentation will focus on changes to OneDrive, with more details coming during the live stream on 3 October.
Microsoft is also actively introducing Copilot assistants into various apps and services. We might even see a dedicated Copilot for OneDrive.
