Apple unveils new Pencil with USB-C port and simplified features for $79
Apple has unexpectedly announced a new Pencil for iPad owners.
Here's What We Know
The rumours have not been confirmed. This is not the third generation of the device, but just a budget version of the stylus. The gadget received an updated appearance, as well as a USB-C charging port. It was placed under a cap on the back of the device. According to the company, Apple Pencil (USB-C) boasts minimal latency and pixel accuracy.
Unfortunately, the novelty does not support magnetic wireless charging. Also, the device does not have a double-tap function for changing the tool and the ability to recognise the sensitivity of presses.
When We Can Expect It
Apple Pencil (USB-C) can already be purchased for $79. In comparison, the 2nd generation Apple Pencil with Lightning costs $129 and the 1st generation Apple Pencil costs $99.
