Some Russian media wrote that a drone with a reinforced battery and homemade explosives damaged at least one aircraft. This was confirmed by Andrei Yusov, a spokesman for the Main Intelligence Directorate.

According to him, people from the central part of the Russian Federation took part in the attack. They successfully completed their tasks and returned safely.

The type of damaged aircraft was not specified, but it is known that the airfield is home to Tu-22M3 strategic missile bombers. Last week they took off from this airbase and launched four Kh-22 anti-ship cruise missiles.

Finally, we should add that a few days ago a drone struck the Soltsy airfield south of St Petersburg. At least one Tu-22M3 subsonic bomber was completely destroyed. Ukraine has not commented on its involvement at this time.
