The Republic of Korea has transferred two more FA-50 Fighting Eagle light combat aircraft to Poland under a $700 million contract
Poland has ordered a dozen South Korean FA-50 Fighting Eagle and has already received two-thirds of the light combat aircraft. The next batch was delivered a few days ago.

The Republic of Korea has transferred two light combat aircraft to Poland. This was announced by the Minister of Defence Mariusz Błaszczak. Thus, Poland has already received eight of the 12 aircraft under the $700m contract.

The agreement was signed in September 2022. In addition to the delivery of a dozen FA-50 Fighting Eagle light combat aircraft, the $700 million contract also includes training, technical and logistical support. Deliveries of the aircraft will be completed by the end of 2023.
Also last autumn, Poland signed an agreement to buy 36 light combat aircraft in FA-50PL configuration for $2.3 billion. Deliveries will start in 2025 and last for four years.
