Analyst: all range of iPhone 14 will go up in price, iPhone 14 Pro Max may cost more than $2000
Recently, insiders wrote that iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will be $100 more expensive than iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. Now Dan Ives, managing director of equity research at Wedbush Securities, has shared his prediction.
Everything will go up in price
So, he predicts that not only the older models, but the entire lineup will go up in price - this way Apple will seek to recoup supply chain costs. Ives believes that the cost of smartphones will increase by $100.
If the forecast comes true, we should expect the following prices for new products:
- iPhone 14 - $899
- iPhone 14 Max (or 14 Plus) - $999
- iPhone 14 Pro - $1199
- iPhone 14 Pro Max - $1299
Also, the iPhone 14 Pro Max is rumored to cost over the $2000. That's if you take into account that the iPhone 13 Pro Max 1TB costs from $1599 - accordingly, the iPhone 14 Pro Max 1TB might cost around $1799. According to rumors, this year Apple will add a modification to the top model with 2TB of RAM, so by simple mathematical calculations we get the price for the iPhone 14 Pro Max with 2TB around $2000.
