Ming-Chi Kuo: Samsung has no plans to use Exynos chips in the Galaxy S23, the smartphones will be sold worldwide with Snapdragon processors
Samsung has been using multiple processors in its flagship Galaxy S smartphone line for years. It looks like this will change in the next series.
What we know
According to Chinese analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Samsung is going to install in the Galaxy S23 line only chips from Qualcomm. We are talking about the flagship SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (SM-8550).

1. Qualcomm will likely be the sole processor supplier for Samsung Galaxy S23 (vs. 70% shipment proportion for S22) thanks to the next flagship 5G chip SM8550 made by TSMC 4nm.
Kuo believes Samsung decided to take this step because the proprietary Exynos 2300 processor will not be as powerful and energy efficient as Qualcomm. Of course, this is just speculation. In any case, the Galaxy S23 release is still a long way off and things could change by the time it comes out.
