Smaller, lighter and faster charging: insider reveals details of Sony WF-1000XM5 headphones

German insider @rquandt has shared details of the new Sony WF-1000XM5 wireless headphones.

So, according to the informant, the novelty will be more compact than the current model Sony WF-1000XM4. In addition the headphones will be lighter (5.9 g versus 7.3 g).

Battery life will remain the same - up to 24 hours with the case. But at the same time, the gadget will boast of faster charging (3 minutes in the case will be enough for 1 hour of headphones). By the way, the case will charge via USB-C port and using Qi wireless technology. Also, the novelty will be equipped with improved microphones for talking and a feature that will allow you to connect to multiple devices at once.

When We Can Expect It

Unfortunately, there is no announcement date for the Sony WF-1000XM5 yet. Most likely, the headphones will be unveiled in July or August.
