Rumour: iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will get a record 2TB of memory
According to recent predictions, Apple's big autumn presentation will take place in mid-September. And the closer that date gets - the more details about the iPhone 15 smartphone line-up emerge.
Here's What We Know
According to Korean blog Naver, the older iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models will be available in configurations with 2GB of internal memory. This is a record-breaking amount of ROM for Apple smartphones.
Apple first added a 1TB storage option for the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max in 2021. If the sources are confirmed, the manufacturer will immediately double the storage capacity to 2 TB this year. At the same time, it is expected that the minimum volume will now be not 128 GB, but 256 GB. Thus, smartphones will be available in four versions: 256 GB, 512 GB, 1 TB and 2 TB.
In addition, analysts and insiders are expecting a price hike for the Pro models this year. According to the latest reports, the iPhone 15 Pro could cost from $1,099 compared to the iPhone 14 Pro's starting price of $999. If this is true, the iPhone 15 Pro Max could be priced from $1,199. How much the 2TB storage versions will cost is better not to imagine.
