The iPhone 15 Pro will get Apple's record-breaking 3nm A17 Bionic processor, but still 6GB of RAM
Apple will unveil its next-generation smartphones next month. At least two models (iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max) will receive the Apple A17 Bionic chip.
Here's What We Know
Apple's new mobile processor will be manufactured by Taiwanese giant TSMC using 4nm FinFIT technology. The chip will have six processor cores and the same number of graphics cores. At the same time, the maximum frequency of the CPU will be 3.7 GHz, which is 240 MHz more compared to the A16 Bionic.

The A17 is used by both the D83 and D84, also likely planned for D47 and D48 (16 series), as the D9x will use t8140 (A18).
RAM, on the other hand, will once again be 6GB. The iPhone 15 Pro and the Pro Max version will be equipped with LPDDR5 type memory manufactured by Samsung and/or Micron. Presentation of smartphones is expected in mid-September, and the start of sales - 22 September.
