Overwatch 2: Season 9 is scheduled to be launched on February 13
Overwatch 2 has a little over a week to go until Season 9 is launched on February 13. The trailer will premiere on February 7, and judging by the thumbnail, the developer seems to outline the changes that will take place in Competitive Play.
Here's What We Know
Season 9 will see a few more balance changes, including the fact that tank and damage dealers will receive a softened version of the passive support sustain. Specifically, tanks and damage dealers will receive a scaled-down version of the Support passive ability, allowing other heroes to regain health, albeit at a slower rate. This change encourages individual-oriented strategies while reducing the burden on allies. How this will affect flankers such as Genji and Tracer remains a mystery, but fans can expect more details on the content and changes in Season 9.
Where To Play
Overwatch 2 is available on Xbox Series, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
