The former Blizzard and Epic Games employees have unveiled their debut project, the ambitious RPG Project O.R.C.S.

The young studio Lightforge Games, founded in 2021 by former employees of Blizzard and Epic Games, presented its debut project - party role-playing game Project O.R.C.S.

Here's What We Know

O.R.C.S is a fantasy RPG whose name stands for Online Roleplaying with Collaborative Storytelling. Players can choose one of three unique classes and travel across a vast map under the guidance of a Guide.

In O.R.C.S, gamers will work together to shape the narrative and create epic stories. It's essentially a digital version of board games similar to Dungeons & Dragons.

All events in the game are subordinated to the numbers that fall on the virtual cube, so it is impossible to predict how the game will end.

When We Can Expect It

Project ORCS will be released on Steam Early Access in 2024.
