Stygian: Outer Gods, a horror game in the style of Howard Lovecraft's books, has been announced

These days Steam service hosts Lovecraftian Days themed event, dedicated to games based on the famous books by H.P. Lovecraft and projects with similar themes.

As if specially for this event, Stygian: Outer Gods was announced.

Here's What We Know

Publisher Fulqrum and studio Misterial Games presented the debut trailer of Stygian: Outer Gods, a prequel to the 2019 game Stygian: Reign of the Old Ones.

In the role of a mercenary, players will travel to the eerie town of Kingsport, inspired by the settlements from Lovecraft's books, alongside a mysterious girl who wants to uncover her family's dark secret.

Players will see the events leading up to the Black Day from Stygian: Reign of the Old Ones and will be able to influence them with their actions and decisions.

Stygian: Outer Gods will feature interesting locations, creepy monsters, challenging puzzles, a fascinating story and an atmosphere of unfathomable horror inherent in Lovecraft's books.

When We Can Expect It

Stygian: Outer Gods is expected to be released in 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series.

On Steam, the game can already be added to your wishlist.
