What's new in Overwatch 2: rank resets, detailed stats, and more

The competitive mode has been the main mode in Overwatch throughout the game's existence, so the developers paid special attention to the development of this mode and they have long-term plans to improve it in the future already in Overwatch 2.

Here's What We Know

From the start of the sequel, there will already be some significant changes in it. Here are a few of them:

- Redesigned results table, removing medals from there when dealing damage or healing.
- Beginners will be able to play ranked games after 50 wins in regular quick battles.
- After 20 wins in matches the ranking skill will change.
- The current ranks of players will go down.
- For three thousand points you will be able to buy a gold weapon for any hero.
- Rewards received for the battles in PvP mode can be used in the next season.
- Players will be able to explore detailed statistics on each individual character.
